Eagle Boards of Review are routinely conducted the last Wednesday of each month at TRC in Augusta *. Project Approvals are also conducted on the same nights by appointment. Eagle Boards of Review and Project Approvals can be conducted outside of these prescribed times if deemed necessary.

BSA National allows Pine Tree Council to determine the “level” at which the Eagle Board of Review is conducted. The Pine Tree Council Advancement Committee has designated Eagle Boards of Review to be conducted at “Unit Level”. The Eagle candidate’s Troop provides at least 2 members of the Troop Committee to sit on his Eagle Board of Review. The District Advancement Committee provides at least 1 member of the Eagle Board and ensures proper procedure. The Troop Committee determines the Chair of the Eagle Board. Other persons including non-Scouters, such as teachers, clergy, public officials, etc. may be invited to sit on the Eagle Board (maximum total of 6 persons including Troop and District representatives) provided they have an understanding of the significance of the Rank.
